I've used them a number of times over the years, they are a bit of a distance however to travel to. I was let down by them a few weeks back. I wanted a lock for a sliding disabled toilet door. I was astounded that they didn't know what I meant despite showing them a picture. I then went to cooksons in Stockport having phoned them first. They knew exactly what I wanted and I ended up buying two so my customer would have a spare on site. Bolton lock should have easily known what I meant after all they are locksmiths ! I mean, these types of locks are a legal requirement in the building industry.

I couldn,t find anyone in my locality to cut a key for my motorcycle. Some one suggested Bolton Lock company. I went there with my key, it was quite an intricate job but the end product was first class. Thanks Bolton Lock.

I bought a new Euro barrel from them a couple of weeks ago, and was given re-assuring reports about my purchase from the young man ; who served me. However, I went back a few days later to buy a similar unit; which was out of stock. The same young man told me a different story, the sevond time I visited. I am not sure whether he knew what he was talking about; as the fisrt time, he gave me the manufacturers spec; the second visit; he gave me his spec!
Unfortunately, I am not as confudent with this business as I previously was!

Honest and friendly.
Credit to Steve. He could have easily charged me for what I thought was a broken car key. After a quick fiddle with the car I left with everything working great and he didn't charge me a penny.
