The National Festival of Making returns to Blackburn Town Centre for a vibrant weekend celebrating creativity, skills, and innovation. From kitchen table ideas to large scale manufacturing, this much loved festival brings together art, making, industry, and community.
Across the weekend, Blackburn’s streets will be filled with free hands on workshops, live performances, talks, exhibitions, markets, and interactive experiences for all ages. Makers and artists from across the UK will share their craft, offering opportunities to try new skills, explore materials, and discover contemporary takes on traditional techniques.
Perfect for families, individuals, and anyone curious about creativity, the festival is welcoming, inclusive, and designed to inspire.
