Take time this Good Friday to pause, reflect, and connect ✨
Blackburn Cathedral invites you to their Good Friday Liturgy, a deeply moving service led by Dr Rowan Williams.
Spanning three hours, this service is designed to be flexible and welcoming, you are invited to attend for as long or as little as you feel comfortable.
The service is split into two parts:
🕊️ The first two hours include reflections, music, and moments of silence, centred around the cross
🎶 The final hour is led by the Cathedral Choir, focusing on the crucifixion through powerful choral music
There is no pressure to stay for the full duration. You are welcome to enter and leave quietly at any time, making it accessible for everyone, whether you have a few minutes or wish to stay longer.
A calm, meaningful way to mark Good Friday in a peaceful and respectful setting.
