Music lovers are invited to an evening for the soul at The Bureau Centre for the Arts. This special double-bill performance features the beautiful harmonies of Manchester-based acoustic trio Canter Semper alongside captivating North West tales and tunes from the exceptional folk duo Douglas and Moss.
Douglas and Moss, comprised of classically trained violinist Rebecca Clare Douglas and skilled guitarist and vocalist Richard Moss, are known for their uncommon passion, grace, and sensitivity. Steeped in rich traditions, they weave a captivating blend of traditional and original songs rich in genuine emotion. Joining them are Canter Semper, a talented trio renowned for their unique brand of "Vintage Gospel"—a harmony-driven, soul-stirring blend of folk, roots, soul, and pop.
This performance is proud to be part of Blackburn Gigs, a live music programme running from April to September 2026. Supported by Arts Council England and Blackburn with Darwen Council, the initiative is dedicated to rebuilding the town's grassroots music scene with diverse, accessible line-ups every weekend.
