Join Blackburn with Darwen Council for a moving evening of remembrance through music, song, and reflection. This special concert honours those who gave their lives in the two world wars and other global conflicts.
Taking place on Thursday 6th November 2025, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Blackburn Cathedral, this annual concert has become a cherished part of the borough’s remembrance commemorations and supports the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The evening begins with a Procession of Standards, followed by performances from local choirs, the Salvation Army Brass Band, Blackburn Junior Sea Cadets, and Blackburn People’s Choir. School children and cadets from across the borough will unite for a powerful programme of words and music.
Tickets are £5.00 for adults and £1.00 for children (booking fees apply).
