
Blackburn Symphony Orchestra, one of the North West’s finest amateur orchestras, returns to Blackburn Cathedral for its Spring Concert on Saturday 21st March 2026 at 7.30pm.
Under the baton of conductor Richard Howarth, the orchestra will perform a compelling programme including:
Rautavaara – Cantus Arcticus
Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 3
Nielsen – Symphony No. 4, “Inextinguishable”
Tickets are £13.00, with free admission for under 19s.
Tickets can be purchased online via the orchestra’s website, or in person at Blackburn Visitor Centre, Blackburn Market (cash or card accepted).
