The Lowdown: Keep an eye on local community centres like St George's in Mill Hill. They often host Easter Breakfasts and Bingo nights, with prizes of massive chocolate hampers. For music lovers, venues like King Georges Hall and the local pubs usually have live tribute acts and "Easter Specials" throughout the weekend.
Blackburn really comes alive when we all get involved. Here are three quick tips to make sure your weekend goes smoothly:
Book Early: Events like the Mytton Fold hunt and the Library visit have limited spaces and sell out fast.
Check the Weather: It is Lancashire, after all! Pack a raincoat even if you are heading to an outdoor egg hunt.
Support Local: Whether it is a library craft fair or a local cafe, staying in Blackburn helps our community thrive.
Whatever you end up doing, I hope you have a brilliant, chocolate-filled Easter!
