Weekly Rubbish Collection

There is weekly emptying of the 'normal' (grey) wheelie bin and then collection of green waste and recycling waste (orange bins/bags) on alternate fortnights. To find out whether it is a green week or an orange week then either call the help desk or download a calender from http://www.bedford.gov.uk/environment_and_planning/rubbish,_recycling_and_waste/recycling_collection.aspx\r \rIf you are unsure whether your waste is collected in a bin or a bag, or what day your waste is collected on please contact the Environmental Helpdesk on 0800 121 8888.\r\rPlease put your bin or bags out for collection by 7.00am on your designated collection day. Once your bins have been collected please remember to move them back onto your property within 24 hours. Bins left out on paths or roads can cause an obstruction.
