Friday was a busy day for me up in Coventry for the annual thebestof business conference. It was amazing to see 300 of my fellow franchisees, all running a bestof franchise in their own towns talk about what they've been achieving for their members this year. Some of them are definitely pathfinders for the other franchisees, developing an aspect of their business into a higher art form! One example of this was Sara and Chris of thebestof Norwich who are driving forward the use of effective social media to promote their business members to the general public. Using Linked in, Facebook and Twitter they are daily 'talking' about their members, what they are up to, what special offers they have, events or anything of interest - keeping the focus on their business members and extolling their virtues.
And that was just one example. Others included running massive business expo's, local networking evenings, using thebestof brand to promote their business members, personal referrals etc. Really exciting and I have some grand plans for Bath now! Bath watch this space!
