John Cleese at the Theatre Royal in Bath
27th January 2011

I know for sure that a lot of people will be delighted that Mr. Cleese (I have heard that he now lives in Bath) sets down in Bath.

Tickets for his performances (28th June -  2nd July)  will be on sale from 2nd February, and will be priced between £24.50 and £38.50 (this will be without a doubt an evening to remember!) Tickets can be booked online

Cleese has achieved a lot in his career. Monty Python was created with Cleese co-writing and starring in four series and three films. He went on to achieve further success as the neurotic hotel manager Basil in Fawlty Towers, which he co-wrote with his then wife Connie Booth.  After huge UK success John went on to crack the USA with A Fish Called Wanda (which he wrote and starred in with Jamie Lee Curtis). The late 1990s saw the unstoppable Mr Cleese appear in the Bond Movie The World is Not Enough and later Die Another Day.

It is rumoured that John Cleese is bringing his ‘Alimony Tour’ to help him fund the £12 million divorce settlement!!

Whatever his reason for this tour, I am a fan and I will be checking my diary this evening!
