"Shout out for volunteers in the build up to the final installation of the balustrade....
Could you spare a few hours to help us hand-paint the newly galvanised balustrade and it's musical notes? We are supporting Bath IRON by holding a PAINTING PARTY at the Ironart of Bath workshop on Saturday 23rd March 8am to 5pm.Refreshments will be available all day. Please come along and lend a steady hand. Email Jess at info@nhig.org.uk if you have any questions or to let us know that you will be coming, it would be great to have an idea of numbers to expect.
You don't need to be an artist or professional decorator, but a steady hand, some patience, perseverance and an eye for detail will certainly help. It will be a really fun day, meeting lots of new people and you'll be able to visit the bandstand in Pareade Gardens, for years to come and remember the part you played in making it happen.
