Come and explore how to easily create your own eco-friendly indigo vat and dye a stunning piece of cloth; a creative workshop by talented local textile artist Sue Crook of 7Artists+
Sue will demonstrate the simple way to make an indigo dye vat and then, “with one I made earlier” show you the magic of dyeing your own items.
Bring up to three items to dye, must be 100% natural fibre such as cotton, linen, silk or wool (nothing larger than t-shirt sized please).
A great opportunity to learn a new skill and contribute to a greener planet. No experience necessary, all materials provided. Just bring an apron, rubber gloves and plastic bag/bucket to take your items home.
