Dear Pete, please accept our special thanks for the large quantity of fruit brought in to St Luke's Hospice on Christmas Eve. can assure you that everything was put to good use. I made up baskets of fruit so that everyone could help themselves, and then replenished the baskets as they were used. All our patients, staff and volunteers appreciated this wonderful gesture. PML FRUITS: Since Peter took over the greengrocery stall on Basildon Market approximately 7 years ago, I have never purchase fruit or vegetables elsewhere, and as long as Peter and his great staff struggle on, I will remain a grateful customer. The stall is family run and the best of that ethos is so apparent. Don't think of moving or closing Peter's emporium.
