Visiting Shimpling the other Sunday, we were looking for a good walk with a pub lunch and were recommended the Crown at Hartest. So glad we took the advice - it has to be the best pub roast I've ever had. Succulent tender roast beef with crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and masses of lovely fresh vegetable cooked to perfection, followed by a yummy sticky toffee pudding and washed down with the pub's own Brewshed bitter. Not only that we and our dog were made to feel very welcome - everyone who served us were absolutely delightful. Can't recommend highly enough.

We ordered a rooms worth of skirting and picture rail to be installed in a staged fashion in our Victorian house project. 2nd part of skirting missing from delivery and came next day water damaged as if it had been left out in the rain overnight. Quick replacement arranged. We then wrote off the end of last week to get all the picture rails up but on opening packaging all were damaged as if they had been packed with the primer still wet. Again resolved very quickly and now have replacement lengths to finish job off.
