We had booked a table somewhere else but their was not open. On tbe off chance we rang the Crown and they was able to squeeze us in for the lunch sitting. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food was very nice would recommend.

Great Sunday roast. Really tasty. Friendly service. Only downside is that the desserts were disappointing. Still, I’d recommend a visit and would like to return.

We love this place for a Sunday pint, either in the lovely large garden or by the cosy gorgeous fire. Dog friendly and nice staff. Be nice to have some more vegan options on the menu. Lovely old traditional pub in a beautiful setting. Gets busy on Sundays so advise to book.
