Absolutely excellent meal here. Seven delicious courses all very original and beautifully presented. Very tasty little touches like vinegar gel with scampi, garlic ash with consommé, really well done and up at the same level as fine restaurants with Michelin stars. The wine flight and cheese course well worth having. We will definitely be back will happily make hour and a half journey to come here, it’s worth it. Thank you

We came across the venue by chance while staying in Ulverston for a vintage cycling festival. We visited on the evening sitting. The menu was a fixed tasting menu. The food was excellent and the service good. It was a joy to watch the chefs prepare and plate the food. We will be back.

Lovely park but when we got there the cafe was closed and they shut the footpath passed the cafe and did not put a detour sign up and we were not local to the park

Stunning local food presented perfectly by an amazing chef. It was a fantastic experience watching the Chef assemble the dishes and each one was simply scrumptious.
The environment may not be to everyone's taste as it is basically set out like a nice cafe but that didn't bother my wife and I. We were there for the food and we were just overwhelmed. The service was also impeccable. All in all we would thoroughly recommend!

Lovely little park with a choice of places to eat! We stayed close by and had a lovely wander around the walked kitchen garden. There is a restaurant within the park and next door a cafe that supports the local hospice. We had lunch there and it was lovely inc gf options.
