My husband and I have been twice since base opened a couple of months ago and I can't praise it highly enough, base isn't just a restaurant it's a dining experience. The food is outstanding, superb flavours and as a vegetarian myself I find it amazing to finally find a restaurant that serves an out of the box, innovative menu that changes on a weekly basis (a la'carte). Of course my husband who is not a vegetarian finds the choice amazing and delicious, it really is a full senses dining experience.<br>Mark puts passion in his food and restaurant and it shows, the service is excellent and the staff are a credit to the business. Can't recommend 'base' highly enough.

Don't even think twice, book a table! Food was absolutely fantastic and rivals that of many a Michelin Starred restaurant. Atmosphere relaxed and friendly. We couldn't fault a thing. The waitress Abbey was also fantastic. Thank you!!

Absolutely fabulous 7 course taster menu. Every dish presented beautifully and described by highly professional staff. Would recommend to anyone that wants an epicurean experience!
