Plenty of grass and a adventure playground, there are things to do, but mainly walks anytime and is free entry, however it is what you make of it.

A great public amenity, children’s play areas, trails, walks, community garden plus an excellent cafe. I use both the cafe and the dog area, but the cafe serves very good and reasonably priced food, just recently had brunch with friends from out of the area and they were mightily impressed too.

What an oasis in the middle of the town the cafe serves delicious food with an imaginative vegetarian menu as well.I have attended the evening talks and suppers and enjoyed them all.i am now a lifetime member and would encourage any one local to do so to keep this viable for the town.

We really enjoyed our Burns Night in the cafe at Ford Park. We were a party of eight, the food was terrific, delicious and with a Scottish twist. The staff were attentive and very friendly and made the atmosphere fun and the whole evening very enjoyable.
We loved the Scottish themed quiz and taking part in the address to the haggis.
Thoroughly recommended, we will definitely go again next year and we're looking forward to other events at Ford Park.

After a walk up the Hoad we spent time in the park. My grandson loved the zip wire in the childrens section. He also had plenty of space to play with his drone. A great family area.

This is a nice little park with a good cafe and a range of plants for sale. You can access the monument from the path past the cafe

This was the venue for a family lunch to celebrate my mum's 90th birthday. We hired the function room upstairs which has access to the lovely roof terrace from which you can look onto Hoad or across Ulverston. We had the hot buffet menu and added some desserts and the food surpassed all expectations. It was incredibly imaginative, well presented and there was so much we took doggie bags home! I would definitely recommend this place for a small party - up to 40 poeple i think could fit into the room fairly comfortably. It might get warm on a hot day but there is a lot of room on the roof terrace. We were well looked after throughout the time we were there and I wish we could do it all again.
