Celebrating special birthday, the staff made a real effort with the table and decorations. Food was excellent as it has been on previous visits. Thank you to all staff who were friendly and polite.

Absolutely amazing food. Great atmosphere and very polite staff. Polished off all our food and honestly wish we could've eaten more. Oh and the keema rice. WOW

Food was excellent, fresh, tasty and well presented. We did not feel rushed at all. Perfect timings between each courses.
Staff were welcoming and attentive to detail.
A great atmosphere in there this evening. Large tables having Christmas meals but all tables were managed well. The meal was finished with a lovely pot of tea !

Food was delicious, we really enjoyed our meal, wonderful flavours. I’ve only rated four stars because I would have preferred the plates to have been warmed because the food went cold quite quickly. Just a minor detail but maybe something they should consider.

Mixed bag. Some of the food was lovely, particularly the lamb rogan josh and the rice and naan but the chicken tikka masala was the worst I’ve ever had. It was creamy and heavy on coconut ?!?! Tasted more like a korma. It was also nearly cold. We ate one piece of chicken from it and left the rest. Queried it with the waitress and apparently that’s a normal recipe for tikka masala well not in my experience. Double checked the menu on leaving and there was no mention of coconut in the tikka masala (if it had mentioned it we wouldn’t have ordered it). Service was quite slow with a lot of staff standing around. We have had takeaway from here before and enjoyed it but I don’t think we’d rush back to the restaurant.

Had an absolutely exceptional experience at Everest Lounge in Market Harborough. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone—warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening.

The food was outstanding. Every dish was packed with flavour, cooked to perfection, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they do.

What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making sure everything was just right without ever being intrusive.

Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Everest Lounge if you're looking for great food, a lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. Will definitely be coming back!

Once a year event. For Aircraft/Forces followers, this is heaven. For others, it's an exciting and different day out. Like any Air Show, there are loads of interesting side shows, stalls and Forces connections. What makes Airbourne different is that it's FREE!, it's on the promenacce by the Pier and all the action takes place out to sea - where everyone can see the planes and helicopters, the parachutists and the Lifeboats. Great way to spend a day. Entrance costs NOTHING! Great for family entertainment.

A free event, reliant on donations from visitors to keep the show on the road. Plenty of space either on the beach between the wish tower and pier, or promenade. Generally flying is between 1pm and 5pm'ish. It is weather depedant since some aircraft come from Europe. Normally a parachute display, vintage and modern aircraft, including the thunderous Typhoon jet, which roars in at 600mph, and pulls away, so the full force is felt by the public, just incredible. Normall early/mid August Also market stalls and eateries.

This must be the biggest and best airshow in the UK!
...and it’s free!
It has been going for many years now, and is always worth a visit.
