A good local market. Certainly better than my home town! A good selection of stalls. Quite a few haberdashery and craft traders, but Ulverston seems to be a "crafty" town

We went at the end of May the weather was sunny and glorious the baby ducks and baby swans baby geese an baby moorhens we're all out on the walk.... So recommend the canal foot for a wonderful walk along the canal. Then a beer at the bay horse which is overlooking the sea an canal foot...

Ulverston Market Hall is a wonderful gem. Everything from pies to buttons, hair Salon to books. And the Visitor Information Centre.<br>The place to visit.

Great indoor market, something for everyone and some great bargains to be had. The bakery is an absolute gem as is the incredibly diverse cheese stall.
