We all use businesses every day and yet some leave us with a good feeling - and others we are not so sure about. It is nearly always down to the business owner, their drive, passion and personality.
In the recent campaign run by thebestofaberdeen to find the most loved businesses in Aberdeen, Utopia, the hair and beauty salon in Midstocket Road, came out top with over 80 of their customers telling them how wonderful they are!
Rendezvous@Nargile came 2nd under the restaurant category and Hatstand Nelly were 3rd under hairdressers.
Jane's Design Studio in Stonehaven (furniture and interior design), came in the top 5 nationally, as did Molly's Bistro Bar.
All of these businesses have owners who know the meaning of good customer service and have well trained and helpful staff. thebestofaberdeen is proud to champion these great businesses.
This '14 days of love' campaign received tremendous support throughout the UK, with over 16,000 nominations for good local businesses.
The large number of local people who took time to write testimonials goes to show just how important great local business are to the local community, especially during difficult economic times.
