Owner/chef Karen Iridag has been running restaurants since 1983.
Situated in Forest Avenue in the West End of Aberdeen, Karen’s restaurant employs friendly and dedicated staff who provide a special service and food.
Her speciality is Turkish and middle eastern food. All meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises to ensure high standards of quality. And Karen will only cook food that she would eat!

Meze our speciality
Meze is food that reflects a certain way of life and culture. It describes an eating style, ancient in origin and favoured in Greece and the Mediterranean, where eating is about hospitality and celebration. It is a meal comprised of many small dishes that make lunch or dinner a fun food experience. Meze is sharing thoughts with friends over delicious food and a glass or two of wine or Ouzo.
Although not a Turkish restaurant, our food has been developed from traditional Turkish dishes to become unique in their content and presentation by sourcing local and imported special products from Turkey and Europe.
Our menu includes delicious meze food including:

Much of our food is vegetarian and includes wonderful fresh spicy vegetables, cheese and herbs.
Our speciality food dishes include:
Patlican Kizartma (V) - lightly fried aubergine slices topped with seasoned onion, cream of yoghurt and a sprinkling of feta cheese with a roasted red pepper sauce and garnished with a fresh tossed salad.
Rendezvous Kebabs - with marinated meat with onions and peppers, char-grilled and served with rice and a chilli dip. With chicken, lamb or mixed.
We have a special selection of salads including Salad Nicoise, Caesar and Dana Sogush.
We also serve delicious burgers and tasty pasta dishes, delicious sweets.
