Tickets from £10. The Mayor’s Variety Performance on Saturday is in aid of 5 local charities and will be hosted by Ambrose Harcourt at Hove Town Hall. It promises to be a night of dance, comedy, music and drama. 6:30pm start, £7.50 tickets. If you have kids to entertain over the half term, the Hijack Children’s Festival from Saturday onwards for a week is full of interactive and innovative events especially for 3-11 year olds. A family charity fun run where you have an excuse to dress in a chicken costume and do your fowl-est impressions in public - it is Brighton after all (Hove Actually!).
