The Best of Welwyn Garden City held another successful Business Networking Event at Terranova Italian Restaurant last night. All the members and guests who attended enjoyed themselves and stayed late into the evening.
It was the first time that we held a sit-down meal and during the evening a topical quiz was organised so that everyone there could learn something about Terranova Restaurant, Welwyn Garden City and all of the local businesses.
The quiz was a very keenly contested with Gills Bathrooms just pipping The Mortgage Centre by 1 point. The winner Chris Kania from Gills won a voucher to the value of £50 for an alla carte meal at Terranova.
A raffle was also organised to raise funds for Help for Heroes and the proceeds were given to Tony Shephard of Tiger Flooring as he is taking part in a "yomp" around the Isle of Wight in May with 17 other people.
