A few days ago, I had my hair cut at Egerton’s Barbershop, and I was impressed with the friendly welcome and first class service that I received. Having only recently moved to Telford, from Maidstone in Kent, my hair hadn’t been cut for almost six months., and when I came across Egerton’s website, I was impressed with what I saw. As a boy, I used to have my hair cut at a traditional barber’s shop and so I decided to book an appointment. I chose Mark Egerton because, standing in front of the shop’s classic Belmont leather chairs, attired in bow tie, crisp white shirt, armbands. cufflinks, black waistcoat, and trousers, he is the epitome of sartorial elegance that one associates with the barbers of yore. As we chatted, I was fascinated by the expertise with which he wielded the tools of his trade, and by the array of powders, and potions that he used. It was certainly the best tonsorial experience that I can remember, and I shall definitely be returning in the not-too-distant near future.
