Took my daughter for a daddy and daughter date on Saturday, we usually go to a local multiplex but I wanted to take her where I used to go as a lad her age for a change. Great place to watch a film, half the price of the local multi too. New seats in Screen One are really comfy and the staff are real people who are very helpful and chatty - great service and lovely to support local business too.

Had a great night at Empire Cinema watching Despicable Me 3. The staff bend over backwards to accommodate your every need and are friendly and polite. We took advantage of the two for one ticket offer and got lots of minion themed treats too! Brilliant and highly recommended.

Recently visited Empire Cinema to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 in 3D. Des and his staff are fantastic and it's a great family friendly/community cinema. Will be going back again real soon.

We took our young children to the Peppa Pig first cinema experience and they absolutely loved the whole thing from getting their tickets and popcorn to the film itself.

What a great night we had at Empire Cinema! We were in the recently refurbished Screen 1 and it's really comfortable. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I recently popped into the cinema on the day they were hosting a senior morning, honestly I've never seen a cinema so busy.. The guys there work so hard to pull off the senior mornings, I don't think there was an empty seat in screen 1!!
I genuinely heard a woman say that Des Christie was the highlight of the week.. Happy to spread the word to the local community about what a great asset we have!
