A son’s mission to raise £8,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support to say thank you to the charity for supporting his father who is battling terminal cancer, has this week received a £1,000 boost from his employer.

It’s summer in Shrewsbury again (finally!) and it’s not long until Father’s Day.
Up to 50 stalls are expected at a Shropshire Handmade and Vintage Summer Fair to be held at the headquarters of Shrewsbury-based caravan and motorhome dealership, Salop Leisure, on June 20-21.
