A good auction house which I use from time to time. Unfortunately, like some other auction houses recently they no longer take credit cards. I was there a few weeks ago , i wanted to bid in excess of £2,000 in total but I only had £1600 in my debit current account. Sure I could have made bank transfer arrangements or other arrangements to pay for the rest but this is time consuming and not always possible at short notice. Bamfords in Derby have also adopted the same policy of no credit cards now for payment. I do think that Hansons Derby will now become the main seller of expensive items in the East Midlands Area because they have kept credit cards as an option for payment. I feel sure that this will come back to bite Wintertons & Bamfords in the long run! Otherwise a Very Good Auction House.

I have thoroughly enjoyed shopping with this auction house over the past 4 weeks. Their friendly but professional service was exceptional from start to finish. The postal charges and service was the best I've ever come across. I can definitely recommend them without question. Splendid work from the team. Hope to be back soon, from a very HAPPY customer.
