Established in 1986 Lewisham Pensioners Forum has worked steadfastly to provide a voice for older people, challenging local and national policies that negatively affect the daily lives of older people. We have no political or party allegiance and while we value the funding we receive from LB Lewisham, we remain independent.

Lewisham Borough's Tip, which is also called the Reuse and Recycling centre can be found at Landmann Way in Deptford. It is open everyday of the week, even bank holidays. Although weekends are really busy and the recommendation is that you get there early at weekends. A more detailed list is shown, some of the items accepted fridges, freezers, car batteries, electrical items, light bulbs, TVs and monitors, etc.
