Stourport Publican Raises a Glass to the Royal Couple

A Stourport landlady is planning on offering specially named ales on the day of the big royal wedding. Prince William and Kate Middleton are due to tie the knot on April 29th and Maggie Smith is hoping to pull in the punters enjoying their bank holiday.

The Hollybush on Mitton Street in Stourport will have aptly named beers and ales available on the day; ‘Royal Wedding’ and ‘Special’ to name a few. Maggie herself admits she is a great Royalist and enjoys celebrating those special occasions that may only happen once or twice in a lifetime.

Live streaming of the Wedding, refreshments and live music will also be available in the Hollybush.

Locals will also have yet another chance to spoil themselves on different tastes from the oak barrel as the Stourports’ first Beer festival is scheduled to take place on Thursday May 12th – 15th at the Hollybush. 18 real ales and 3 ciders will spoil you for choice and no doubt make you stay for one more.
