Sitting in my warm office, with a hurricane wind blowing outside, I see the huddled groups of smokers in the street below. They must be freezing. A few months ago I was one of them, feeling and looking terrible - with regular health problems - frequent coughs, colds and heartburn. I saw Matthew one Wednesday in July in his Ealing office. He put me into a surreal trance, and, using stories of recovery, and horror of what might happen if I continued on this path, convinced me that I neither wanted or needed to smoke. I was happy to leave my cigarettes on his desk, as I left to begin a new life of healthy living. Thanks dude. Barry
