We agreed a price with the vendor on 23rd January and, having received a fees estimate from Amity Conveyancing two days earlier, instructed Jayne to proceed on our behalf. Seven weeks later we moved into our new home.
The transaction became a little complicated when the vendors failed to supply a complete set of documents and had to be ‘encouraged’ to do so. We know that Jayne burned a considerable amount of midnight oil to achieve completion within the original time frame and was not averse to delivering documents to us by hand to keep things moving.

Despite what we are sure was more than the built in allowance for, unquantifiable, extra work when the bill arrived it was exactly per the estimate.
