I've used A Man Who Can for a variety of household tasks but this is the first time that I called them up about a plumbing problem. It turned out to be a very challenging task as the toilet was a weird foreign design which needed parts ordered and then basic items (eg a close coupled thing-a-me) had to be two inches instead of the standard. However, John was not fazed and spent ages wrestling with what appeared to me to be an utterly hopeless task. Excellent service throughout.
This company is a fantastic resource for those of us unable even to put pictures up successfully. I've used them several times and the great thing is they can tackle so many jobs which means you can clear the decks of all those annoying DIY tasks which actually would be better done by someone competent. The booking system is organised, the staff are great and they don't waste time so the cost is very fair. Really recommend them.
This is a great concept and they have a strong line-up of qualified and experienced people who can cover most situations. The only trouble is that they are so busy you have to wait a while! Two guys came and sorted several decorating and maintenance jobs to a very high standard. This included fixing an electrical problem, putting up pictures and even showing me how to set my boiler timer. They are so helpful and don't mind being asked all sorts of questions about house management. The rates are very reasonable and I would definitely use again.
