This match lived up to its billing – a contest between two sides struggling to avoid relegation. Both sides were nervous and it showed through the number of errors made as they tested each other out.

Malvern went into this game needing a win to keep in touch with sides above them. Unfortunately a much-improved and changed Amersham side were just too good for them on the day, being half a yard quicker in both thought and deed.
