This Aldridge-based restaurant is one if the new kids on the block. Despite its initial teething problems, it has recovered to produce cuisine and service to a consistently high standard. There is a wide a la carte choice with a very competitive midweek menu which includes a bottle of wine. Our favourites are the mussels (there's even a choice of two) and I run out of superlatives when describing their steaks - seasoned and succulently cooked to perfection - are not to be missed. With friendly and attentive service, and reasonably priced wines, this gem won't break the bank balance.

We visited Da Vincis for Brian's birthday last night 9th March and had yet another spectacular meal. We have been going regularly for the last 4 years and can honestly say in all that time we have NEVER had anything less than a fabulous and well presented meal. We have held several parties there for all our families and friends and Mo and Ali and staff have always welcomed us with open arms and a hug and kiss (that is for me not Brian) !!!! The quality of food for the prices they charge is exceptional and we don't think that anywhere around this area can beat them for this.
Keep up the good work Mo and Ali and we will no doubt see you very soon !!!!!

We eat at Da Vinci regularly and always find the food and service outstanding. The prawn salad starter is larger than a main course at some restaurants and the fillet steaks are exceptional value and always cooked to perfection. We like the fact that the food is cooked to order, individually, by chefs on show in the open plan kitchen and not just prepared by 'microwave technicians'. A friend held her teenage daughter's birthday party at Da Vinci recently and said she was delighted with the food and service and it had worked out much cheaper than ordering takeaway pizzas for the girls.
I am surprised at reading some of the reviews on these pages as, having spent numerous holidays in all parts of Italy, we feel that the food IS authentic Italian, with a good choice for all age groups and occasions, and does it really matter what the nationality is of the people who are cooking it and serving it. Most of the best traditional English fish and chip shops are owned and run by Greeks or Cypriots. We enjoy the food, it is good value for money compared with other restaurants in the area, we are treated as friends by the staff, and this is why we keep returning. We will be there again this evening.

service was okay, pleasant staff, food not the best, okay if you stick to the basics, but a little pricey for what it is..

Have frequented Da Vinci's regularly for over a six months period it has become one of my favourite eating places. Friendly, fast and efficient service. A good range of Italian dishes. Mussels for starters is perfect. They recognise me and will offer suggestions. If you want a treat then look no further.

Me and my husband tried Da Vinci's for the first time over the weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We were given bread and olive oil when we arrived and we enjoyed a good sized bowl of olives, both had starters, main courses AND desserts... and we enjoyed a bottle of the house red, which was a palettable merlot - and the whole lot came to just £42! Would defiantely recommend and will be back

Friendly service however the food quality and taste doesn't live up to the menu. In my opinion they keep the prices low to encourage you in but use low quality produce. If you want an ok meal for a good price then it's ideal. The restaurant is so open it lacks a little atmosphere apart from the smokeyness from the kitchen that is.
