July 18th Record breaking temperatures and the local cheap pub has closed the kitchen. Luckily my friend suggested Da Vinci Aldridge as being better food AND Air Conditioning.<br>Ten minutes later we are in the lovely former Hop n Grape bar/nightclub, now Da Vinci Italian.<br><br>The food was amazing<br>We went for the 3 course deal<br>And we're hard pushed to finish it all.<br><br>Highly recommend<br>If you've never been before, like me, you need to go here.<br>Huge capacity venue take the whole extended family.

The most warm welcome & friendly staff.<br>Food was very good, arrived quickly & very hot.<br>Steak cooked to perfection. Pasta had lots of seafood.<br>On the downside, not an Italian in sight!, Bread was crispy & dried out & generally the restaurant lacked ambiance & finesse.<br>The single toilet that serviced all guests was disgusting!

Had our first Italian take away meal from here last week for my birthday absolutely amazing we will definitely be coming back, food was delivered hot and on time and was cooked to perfection. We were totally blown away and will look forward to dining in next time.
