Went for lunch on Sat 26th Jan & I can honestly say it was the best food I've had for a long time. I took my mum & daughter who is vegetarian & had lots of veggie choices which were also delicious. Staff were lovely & didn't rush you. Puds were delish also. Can't wait to go back for Sunday lunch. Wear stretch waistbands lol.

Ate at the crown again a couple of weeks ago on a busy Saturday lunch, Staff very welcoming and friendly as always even though it seemed very busy, food came out after about 15 minutes, i had the pulled pork pie again as i enjoyed it so much last time, again it was delicious and filling, my partner had the Duck Caeser salad which again was delicious and very filling, she even left some so i got to try, we had the sharing pudding board for dessert again no complaints, we left feeling very happy and full, will be returning again soon.

While driving through the Suffolk countryside we came across this place on a Saturday lunch time, we decided to stop in for Lunch and wasn't disappointed, the meals we ordered were delicious, and the service was faultless, when we asked the waitress a question about a salad dressing that she didn't know the answer to she quickly went to the kitchen to find out and came back and told us great detail. we look forward to coming back again, and also the garden looks great for a summers afternoon, sadly now that will have to wait for next year

Called in on our way back from a holiday in the area we have been to the Crown before and never been disappointed and this time the food was delicious and Fiona and Lucy very friendly.

I'm a new "regular" and I love the fact that on most occasions the bar is full of locals dropping in for their regular tipple and a chat, while the restaurant is often full of diners from near and far. And with good reason, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the food delicious. Smoked Haddock Scotch Eggs have gone onto my list of favourite dishes. Mussels are a winner too. I never struggle finding something on the menu. All the staff are friendly and attentive but never intrusive and I consider myself lucky to find such a place on my doorstep.

We took a party of 7 for lunch including children and all ages of adults. Service was good, as was the food. It's not cheap for a pub Sunday lunch, but with rabbit and belly of pork also on the menu - both of which were excellent - it was worth playing a bit extra. It is also a lovely building in a beautiful village. Worth the trip.

Went here for a drink half way around a walk. Very smart pub with a lovely garden and a good range of beer. Didn't try the food but the menu looked good.

Brilliant outdoor dining area with massive space for kids to blow off steam. Great food, on the pricey side but when you factor in the facilities and setting it's actually decent value.
