We have recently taken on expanded premises, the lease of which was over 46 pages long, very complicated and certainly geared totally to the benefit of the landlord, with little or no protection for us.
On our request Chris Storey of SB Surveyors reviewed the lease and provided us with an extensive report, outlining every single clause, its legal implications, what it meant for us and what he would recommend the clause should be re-drafted to say.
During the meeting with out landlord we were able to use the report provided by Chris as ammunition to argue the contentious clauses in the lease and as a result of Chrisʼs work the lease is being re-drafted with all the amendments he recommend.
I can only say fantastic service from SB Surveyors, that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
