Last year I made a decision to allow Mark Thompson to look after my Pension fund which sadly had been under performing for a number of years. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Mark Thompson 10 days ago to arrange a meeting with me to review my pension fund. The highlights of the review were; Switches of funds through the year – changed from shares to cash funds, Yearly review carried out – promptly, Old plan with Standard life – 3.5% p/a return, new pension 15% - Massive increase in pension value and Understanding my financial needs and future plans. Switching to Thompson Financial Consulting has been one of the best financial decisions I have made.

I have many issues with a flat that I bought 7 years ago and wish that I had known Chris then. The Ipswich Polish Club will be open early October and getting to this stage has been quite an ardous task. We invited Chris Storey to come and give his opinion on the building in his capacity as a surveyor. After spending a full day in the building at 57 St Margaretʼs Street, Ipswich he advised us in his report about certain recommendations which enabled us to re-negotiate far better terms with the landlord. His professionalism and skills saved us a considerable amount of money. We have recently taken on expanded premises, the lease of which was over 46 pages long, very complicated and certainly geared totally to the benefit of the landlord, with little or no protection for us.
On our request Chris Storey of SB Surveyors reviewed the lease and provided us with an extensive report, outlining every single clause, its legal implications, what it meant for us and what he would recommend the clause should be re-drafted to say.
During the meeting with out landlord we were able to use the report provided by Chris as ammunition to argue the contentious clauses in the lease and as a result of Chrisʼs work the lease is being re-drafted with all the amendments he recommend.
I can only say fantastic service from SB Surveyors, that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
