Tina Pamplin, who grew up in Haverhill but now lives in Ross-on-Wye, spent the week at St Nicholas Hospice Care shadowing one of the community fundraisers in order to help her work with a small charity near her home.
Following a successful appeal for volunteers in 2010 the St Nicholas Hospice Care Neighbours are now in training. If you think you could benefit from the scheme get in touch with the Hospice or call into the shop next week.
If you received any Christmas presents that were not quite what you wanted then why not donate them to St Nicholas Hospice Care to sell in their shop in Haverhill?
Come to join us at the Hunter Club tomorrow 8th December between 10-4 to have a look at over 20 stalls with offers of all kind, beautiful soaps, jewellery, cakes,a chance to win a car, photoshoot and so much more.
If you prefer to do your Christmas shopping online from the comfort of the sofa rather than braving the chaotic high street, you can also raise money for Haverhill Community First Responders, an essential local, life saving service.
