This isn’t the kind of place we would normally go but we gave it a try because of the lack of other options. We are glad we did as we had a nice time and some good food
It is a bit of an institution in Bolton and you can see why. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and the service is very nice indeed. The fish and chips were great and we were offered tartar sauce amongst other things which went really well.
The restaurant is licensed so we had a couple of cans of beer with our fish and chips. You can see why it does so well and, although it is a bit on the expensive side in my opinion, we wouldn’t rule out a return visit.

Tasos really has got the Olympus running like a clock from the greeting at the door to the fabulous fish and chips which come in portions for both your pockets and your appetite

My wife is disabled and the staff cant do enough, the place is spotless and food excellent.There are a number of blue badge spaces outside, but is also good for transport links.

Excellent breakfast menu, the staff go out of their way to be helpful & friendly, they help with your coat and open the door for you and always say thank you when you're leaving. First class place to eat.

I absolutely love Olympus Fish & Chip Restaurant. It is one of my favourites, if not, my favourite. They provide a quick, efficient and friendly service, quality of the food is excellent, and the staff are lovely. Cannot fault them at all.

Olympus is the best resturant in Bolton. You always get a warm welcome from the staff who are also very accommodating. The waiting time for the food is minimal and the quality of food is very high. Would recommend Olympus to anyone for any occassion :)

It is recognised for its fish and chips, and my meal matched the expectations! The staff were super friendly, and food was served in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant is looking a little tired and dated, so it may be time for a re-fresh, but still the place looks clean.

Called in early morning and was surpised how nice it was inside. There was a problem with the grill, but tis was explained to me as I entered and it was sorted out n 10 minutes.
Coffee and full breakfast arrived with very courteous and friendly service and was of a good standard at a reasonable price.

Old style service (door held open for you entering and leaving-nice touch) and genuine courtesy in a big restaurant with a Greek influence .Much more than just fish and chips,to which I was so very tempted. Huge Cumberland sausage,creamy mash and lashings of gravy (£8.50) plus a diet coke (£1.80) filled me up before a dash to catch the train-10 mins walk. Earlier tried The York pub nearly opposite the station which does not do lunchtime food.
Highly recommend the Olympus as a very large and great café in a traditional style.

This chippy has been in the heart of Bolton for decades. The reason being is the staff are wonderful the food is Amazing!!! and very clean. Piping hot and so fresh you can almost taste the sea. My 12yr old son and I love it. I defy anyone to find better in Bolton.
