After staying in several hotels around the country on business, I was so happy that the last one was here. From the outset, the staff were helpful and attentive. The rooms (and access to) were good. I understand the hotel is currently undergoing a refit. Such good news to know this hotel will keep on top of rooms before they become too tired.
Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and a hot food section that looked refreshed, rather than the usual dry look that food left out for an hour gains. Even the eggs were runny.
Well done to you all

The hotel is next to the bus station and a short taxi ride from the BV train station. There is a shopping centre a short walk away
Booking by telephone was easy. The hotel itself was clean. Our room on the 5th floor was warm and comfortable with a good shower and Freeview TV.
The hotel is being renovated and as a result there is a great deal of noise during the day; it stopped at 5pm.
The self service breakfast was fine with plenty of coffee. Reception staff were helpful. We have stayed here before and will do at again.

Stayed one night in January.
I have stayed before at the hotel as it is well placed and a friendly staff.
Room was great as previously.
The evening dinner was very disappointing due to the very small portion size.
Now I am a big lad so I eat well but on this occasion not so.
Starter was piri piri fish (4 pieces of fish no bigger then half a finger at best)and that’s not Captain Birdseye.
Main was beef noodles (nice in flavour but honestly maybe 6-8 forks full)
I even had cheese and coffee to fill up (never do I do this) and slap olives.
Would I stay again, yes
Would I eat again, nope

We had a concert at the Guild Hall so needed to book somewhere to spend night. Decided on the Holiday Inn due to its location. Hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the venue. We parked in the multi story car park above the bus station next to the hotel and paid £ 6,00 for 24 hours. On arrival we were quickly and politely booked in. The room was fine for our short stay and had everything we required. We went to the lounge for a drink and after checking the menu decided to eat there as well. The food and service was very good. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Good location close to Preston Guild hall , room was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was good busy at peak times but plenty of choice. Did wait a long time for brew would be much better if they had a self service drinks machine.

The staff here are superb, couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. The room is ok, kind of dull business hotel of course, but very clean, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, tea and coffee, iron, mini Mars bar! And very quiet even though overlooking busy road..

Ideally located for courts, bus station, market square, Harris Street Gallery, micropub......

Only thing they need to sort out is the evening meal(Breakfast no problem as buffet), It's not cheap, £6 for soup and £17 for salmon and veg, but the portion size of the salmon was so small! Very nicely cooked though.....soup was nice but came with a very bland white roll, for that money you could do some nice bread please?

This hotel presents itself as a Holiday Inn but the rooms are like a Holiday Inn Express. We had a really small room and you expect soap and shower gel attached to a wall in a Travelodge not a Holiday Inn. The lovely wooden shutters have also vanished which is a real shame as they were my favourite. The windows in the restaurant need washed, really need washed, but the breakfast is good and fresh. Staff are really good but this needs to be a proper Holiday Inn again.

Stayed for 4 nights. Lovely helpful staff. Rooms were serviced daily and although on the small side were ok. A problem for me was the desk and chair. The chair was not made to fit the height if the desk which caused problems when working on a laptop in the room for any length of time. The mismatched height caused back pain. The desk lamp did not provide sufficient light either.... easily resolved issues Holiday Inn

Nice clean room(204) bathroom sink cracked and needs replacing. Monday and Tuesday the corridor on Floor 2 stank of cigarette smoke it was awful.

I ate dinner in the hotel on Monday the Fish & Chips were average and on Tuesday had the Rib Eye it was tasty but I had ordered a Blue cooked steak it came as a medium.

Staff very good, the hotel is showing it's age. Overall a decent stay. Thanks
