Despite investigations and some work by different plumbers and a drains specialist we were unable to establish and remedy the cause of sewer odours permiating into our bathroom.
Harvee, of Wicklen conducted a thorough review and identified inadequacies in the venting, plus damaged and badly configured piping as being the likely cause. Replacing and reconfiguring some of the waste piping, replacing the defective soil vent pipe and adding a second vent downside of the sewer has not only eliminated the odours in our bathroom but also presents a neater exterior appearance.
