Hestercombe is a great place to enjoy walking round the garden/parks. Our grandchildren love this place as do we. They usually have a sheet of paper with a list of things to find for children, lovely walks through woodland, a lake and some open space. Great for hide and seek. Dogs love it too though they have to be kept on a lead. The café has good food. The annual fee makes it a good deal for locals.

Lovely gardens, lovely staff, great coffee shop, parking easy and dog friendly. Bargain to become a yearly member. Well worth a visit, even over the winter period.

Took my 5yr old boy here for an easter hunt and we loved it. Entrance prices are quite expensive, as is the food, but we had a good morning out and the activities for the kids were well planned and catered for.

Lovely place and did take lots of photos as is my hobby. Different seasons have different looks. Just a little pricey on entry if want to go several times. Would like to go in every season.

Hestercombe Gardens are like stepping back in time! From the moment you arrive there are amazing views, architecture, and gardens. The lovely walks around the ponds will lead you through a woodland where you will discover cascading waterfalls, follies and shelters as you stroll along the paths. Hestercombe House is not to be missed with it's vibrant art installations that invite visitors to stop and stare and perhaps afterwards enjoy a cream tea in its beautiful restaurant.

2016 Xmas fayre was interesting and topped off with tasty home-made soup and roll.
Only 4 miles outside of Taunton with gorgeous views. Suitable for all mixed groups but could be slightly difficult for disabled.

Have been to Hestercombe a few times, it's a great place to blow the cobwebs away by walking around the beautiful grounds and gardens and there's also a choice of places for lunch. Great food, helpful, friendly staff. Second hand books are also for sale in the house. The volunteers help in the garden and the house. Well done to them all.
