A small army of supporters will be joining Max Ball’s next challenge to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support to say thank you to the charity for supporting his father who is battling terminal cancer.
An appeal has been made to trace former employees of Shrewsbury’s award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership Salop Leisure for a special barbecue next month to celebrate the company’s 50th birthday.
A 50-year-old touring caravan, which was made the same year award-winning caravan dealership Salop Leisure began, was a talking point as the West Midlands Caravan and Motorhome Spring Show opened in Shrewsbury last Friday.
More than 5000 people are expected at this year’s Annual Vintage Show at the Shropshire Showground, which this year sees a Shropshire enthusiast showcasing his special and rare tractor collections.
An award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership, which celebrates its 50th birthday this year, is hunting the customer with the oldest touring caravan still in regular use.
Owners are being advised to put safety first by booking in their touring caravans for a service before they head off for weekend breaks and holidays this spring.
