The Shrewsbury and District Breathing Club, which has been helping people with breathing problems to have a better quality of life for over 20 years, is seeking to raise awareness of its work. The charity always needs help and support from local people.

Thanks to generous donations from people attending a caravan and motorhome show in Shrewsbury - the Macmillan Cancer charity has received a well deserved financial boost. Over £650 was raised from tea and coffee sales during the show at Salop Leisure.

A Shrewsbury based business has partnered with another local organisation to raise funds to help a local boy who is severely disabled. Salop Leisure caravan dealership is selling raffle tickets for a huge 21 lb Easter Egg to drive towards the target.

A Shrewsbury based furniture retailer is to be the main sponsor for this year's charity Coracle race, which takes place on June 15 on the River Severn. Alan Ward, who are set to take part themselves, have presented a cheque to Macmillan ahead of the race.
