Abingdon Hydro, the group planning to construct a hydro-electric scheme to generate energy from the weir on the River Thames, held their AGM for investors on Friday 23 January.
The Annual World Poohsticks Championships have been held at Days Lock, Long Wittenham for the last 31 years. It has now become so popular that the Oxford Spires Rotary Club are looking for an alternative venue with more space.
