Nice hotel, showings it’s age in some places, but everywhere clean. We had a Privilege room, nice size, good bed linen, extremely nice house keeping, made our room every day, always with a smile early in the morning very polite.
We ate on Friday evening, Indian style dishes, and Humus with nan bread. Tasted delicious, well presented.
Sunday we ordered 3 afternoon tea’s for my mothers 88th birthday. The sandwiches was good, the patisserie ok, but the scones was more like stale rock cakes. We complained, but it was very correct and efficiently handled by the manager Ramzan, with the correct price reduction. We didn’t complain because we wanted a reduction, but Ramzan insisted, and we leave with a warm heart.
All the personnel are very polite and friendly.

The rooms were very good, clean, comfortable, and well presented.
The bathrooms were clean but a little dated.

Hotel very dated and needs attention, drinks and menu overpriced and no vending machine in sight to get snacks, not even any biscuits in the room. On a positive note though, the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Irene from behind the bar, making our stay memorable and worthwhile

For the price, very good. Lovely people, good breakfast and ideal for our relatives in the area.
However, the hotel itself is looking a little Asian y in places and needs some investment. But that doesn’t take anything away from a good night’s sleep.
