Always good in a village hotel. Especially when you have village rewards and get 25 percent off the food and drink. Great value great staff and rooms always tidy. You get use of the gym and steam.and sauna. Decent parking when you driving vans. Can't go wrong would recommend anyone staying in a village hotel.

As a wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of covering a wedding at the Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience! The venue itself offers a beautiful mix of elegance and character, with its classic Georgian architecture and picturesque surroundings, making it an ideal spot for wedding photography.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and understanding, which made the day go so smoothly. From the setup to the end of the celebration, they were attentive and proactive, ensuring both the couple’s needs and mine as a photographer were taken care of. They genuinely went above and beyond to make the day special, creating a relaxed environment where I could focus on capturing those perfect moments.

Use the hotel most days using the gym and leisure facilities and use for work after in the sports bar / restaurant. Really friendly place with great staff. Special mention to both Josh downstairs, Great to see him back! and Irene who runs the bar/restaurant upstairs. When she’s not in the place isn’t the same. Great coffee too!!
Both members of staff are a credit to the hotel. I’d recommend the hotel / facilities to anyone. Keep up the good work.

The staff were welcoming and helpful during our stay. I had booked and paid for a family room as I was travelling with my daughter who has Autism so we needed a room with as much space as possible. However, the toilet was not working so we had to move to a twin room which was much smaller and I had to sleep in a single bed rather than the double I had chosen. These things happen and I didn't mind too much. However, there was no reimbursement of the price difference and I was told that the cost was the same. Very disappointing.

Graham from get Driving Today is simply "THE BEST" driving instructor, both my children have now passed with him. They both passed first time, just a few months after turning 17. He has the patience of a saint, he makes young people feel totally at ease with him and manages to bring out the best in them. Both my son and daughter enjoyed their lessons. Thank you so much Graham, highly recommended.
