Good gym, nice staff, good service. Main negative is that the room that I was in needed a refurb as certain things looked quite dated, particularly the bathroom. Also had to keep going to reception as my key card stopped working nearly every night I was there, which was a pain as I was on the top floor!

I'm here for training with my new guide dog and all the staff are amazing. Nothing is any trouble for them. They are polite and friendly. The chef here is so good and the food is delicious.

Room is nice, the hotel is clean and well organised, the breakfast is a traditional English breakfast with a buffet of several things, including some continental choices and fruits.
A very good features is the fitness club with free access to guests and including swimming pool. Easily connected with Bolton and Macron arena, I suggest this place for overnight stays

Very big hotel, lots of parking to the rear. There was a wedding reception taking place while we were there and the guests spilled out into the lounge area for a while, taking up all the seating so we couldn't have a bar meal, which looked good and all that we really needed, but we were hungry so went into the restaurant, which was empty. Had a lovely meal though. Later we had a drink while my husband watched the rugby on the big screen.

Having been continually warned that the food would be 'dreadful' I was taken by surprise at just how good it was. Christmas Dinner served by extremely capable and friendly staff, pleasant function room, great DJ. Thank you ! 😊
